Gosheni Nursery and Primary School, a privately owned institution, was founded in September 2005 by Mr. Eliabu Jonathan Mrutu, a business management specialist, and Mrs. Wemael Stephen Mrutu, a professional teacher. The school was officially registered by the Ministry of Education on September 18, 2007, under registration number DS.03/7/E.A025. - English
- Mathematics

- Computer Studies
- Swahili
- Physical Education
Our Objectives
Our primary objective is to collaborate with the Ministry of Education to ensure the delivery of high-quality education. To achieve this, we focus on the following sub-objectives:
- Promote Knowledge and Skills: Emphasize science and technology to equip students with essential skills.
- Reduce Education Exodus: Provide quality education locally to minimize the need for students to seek education abroad.
Strategic Location and Infrastructure
Gosheni Primary School is situated on the outskirts of Dar es Salaam, approximately 36 km from the city center, near Bunju A village in an area known as Burumawe, just 1.5 km off Bagamoyo Road. The school is built on an 8-acre surveyed land designated solely for educational purposes, ensuring a serene and spacious learning environment. We have a reliable water supply connected to the school, enhancing the infrastructure.
School Projects and Development
Since its inception in 2005, Gosheni School has undertaken several key projects to improve our facilities:
- Electricity Connection: Achieved in 2012, ensuring a stable power supply for the school.
- Modern Girls Dormitory: A safe and comfortable residence for our female students.
- New Educational Block: Includes seven classrooms, staff rooms, and toilets, completed in 2012.
Future projects include:
- Boys Dormitory: To provide safe accommodation for male students.
- Modern Kitchen: To enhance meal preparation facilities.
- School Fencing: To increase security for students and staff.
- Additional Classrooms and Facilities: Building a dining room, a conference room, and more classrooms to accommodate our growing student body.
Despite the challenges, our students have consistently performed well academically. Notably, in 2010 and 2011, all of our Standard Seven graduates passed their national exams, with almost all students being selected to join secondary schools.
A Legacy of Achievement
Gosheni School is committed to fostering academic excellence and holistic development for every student. Our history of growth, dedicated faculty, and comprehensive curriculum underscore our mission to nurture reliable future leaders. We remain dedicated to expanding our facilities and enhancing our educational offerings to meet the evolving needs of our students and community.
